MEET THE TEAM
DaPlipsta - Server Master
DaPlipsta (also known as simply Plip, hence Plip's Servers) is the mad doctor responsible for bringing Fred to life. He currently manages the server in his free time from his room. It all started with a few people using a VPN client known as Hamachi from his home desktop, and has evolved into a thriving Minecraft community running from a dedicated server named Fred. In his spare time, Plip enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, playing on his server, and making music.
Banditofernando - Web Design, Original Member
Banditofernando is a dashing young lad who was one of the earliest and most involved players on the server. He has helped Plip in the design of the website on and off, and has helped greatly with troubleshooting. He enjoys gaming, playing the guitar, and flying with the Civil Air Patrol.
Recordingdude - Web Design, Original Member
Recordingdude is a very knowledgeable person and a great help to have on the team. He is also one of the earliest members of the server, and has helped with getting this thing online. We are hoping that he will help more with the website as we continue to try to get services such as the forum and blog online.
MEET FRED THE SERVER
Fred is the name which I have given to our dedicated Minecraft server. Fred is a something of a Frankenstein; he was made from the remains of several different old PCs. The case, motherboard, and processor come from an old Dell Dimension 8400, while the power supply and memory comes from an old malfunctioning computer laying around in a wood shop, and the hard drive comes from I don't even know where. Fred is running Ubuntu desktop x32, which is a form of Linux. He is a bit beat up but otherwise is actually quite healthy (as far as I know). We're hoping to get a year out of him at least before we're forced to find something else. A server crash would be no fun.
