The dedicated server is finally running Minecraft, and anyone can connect to it! The use of the Hamachi VPN is no longer necessary. Anyone who knows the IP of the server can connect so long as they're on the whitelist. There will be a server running which will be open access without a whitelist, but this impossible until I can upgrade the server's memory. I have decided to name the computer Fred. It's incredibly satisfying to get the server working after a ridiculous amount of work. Now I can turn my full attention to getting the website fully functional...
